bahay (ba•hai)

[noun]
A home — not just
a place, but a feeling.

We are a Toronto-based team of passionate individuals with a genuine commitment to bringing back the heart of care.

This work is deeply personal to us. We have witnessed the gaps in the system and understand what’s missing. That experience drives us to create care that is thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in real human connection. This is our passion. We are here because we truly want to make a difference.

this is us.

Our values guide our every action so we show up with intention, compassion, and care that truly feels personal.

bahay values

setting the
standards for care.

  • We believe care should never be one-size-fits-all. Your story, your culture, your needs, your preferences all matter. That is why we shape every part of our care around you. We take the time to listen, to adjust, and to show up for you as a whole person, not just a list of needs.

  • We do not just show up to work. We show up with heart. We take the time to build trust, create meaningful connections, and give care that comes from someone who truly cares about you.

  • We have seen the gaps, and we are not here to repeat them. We are raising the bar in home care and setting a new precedent for how care should be delivered, with dignity, consistency, and excellence. We expect more of ourselves, and our clients deserve nothing less.

  • We are not here to rush through checklists. We take the time to do things right, with attention, respect, and intention. Our care is thoughtful, not transactional. It is about doing what is best, not just what is quickest.

bahay story

nursing is my passion.

This career has given me more than I could ever put into words. As nurses, we are privileged to stand beside people in their most vulnerable moments, to ease pain, to listen, and to simply be there. All I have ever wanted was to be a nurse, and I am proud to stand alongside the incredible people I have met throughout my career.

Over the years, I have also witnessed the gaps in our system and how they affect not only clients but also the healthcare workers who show up each day to care for them. The culture of care we once knew has begun to fade, and I want to help bring it back.

Bahay Health is my way of making that difference. It was built to challenge the norm and bring care back to what it should be: personal, intentional, and centered around you. We are returning to the basics, where people come first.

Join us in our mission to transform healthcare.

bahay dream

one community.

We see a future where both clients and nurses feel respected, where care is thoughtful and never rushed, and where everyone feels supported.

We are simply doing our part, hoping to set an example. And perhaps, by showing what is possible, we can inspire others to do the same.

We are building something different, a culture of care where nurses and caregivers feel seen, supported, and valued. At Bahay Health, your voice matters, your well-being matters, and the way you show up for others is deeply respected.

If you believe in slowing down, connecting with clients, and making care personal again, we would love to work alongside you.
